General Surgery
Gallbladder
Gallbladder surgery is a common procedure that involves removing the gallbladder. This may be necessary if you have gallstones or other issues. Recovery time can vary, but most people are able to return to their normal duties within a week.
Lipomas and Cysts
Lipomas and cysts are common skin growths that can be easily treated. While they are usually harmless, they can cause discomfort and become infected. A surgical removal can be performed to prevent complications.
Skin Lesions
Abnormal growths or tumours of the skin are common, such as a basal cell carcinoma (BCC), squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and melanoma. These are removed with a variety of techniques depending on the size and location of the lesion.
Ingrown Toenail
An ingrown toenail occurs when the edge of the toenail grows into the surrounding skin, causing pain, redness, and swelling. It can be caused by a variety of factors, including improper nail trimming, tight-fitting shoes, and injury to the toe. If left untreated, an ingrown toenail can lead to infection and complications. One surgical approach is to cut out the part of the nail that is digging into the skin - a wedge excision.
