Dr Kevin Lah

Dr Kevin Lah is a General Surgeon specialising in Upper Gastrointestinal (GI), Weight Management (Bariatric) and Complex Hernia Surgeries along with the management of General and Emergency surgeries.
Dr Lah completed degrees at the University of Queensland in Physiotherapy (BPhty 2006) and Medicine and Surgery (MBBS 2010), then went on to General Surgery training in Queensland. After obtaining General Surgery Fellowship in 2019, he undertook 3 years of Post-Fellowship Training in Upper Gastrointestinal and Weight Management (Bariatric) Surgery at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and the Austin Hospital in Melbourne.
Private consulting rooms are in the new integrated healthcare Chermside Health Hub at Obesity Surgery Brisbane and operations are performed at St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside (Chermside, next to The Prince Charles Hospital) and St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital (Brisbane, Spring Hill). Dr Lah has public appointments at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and the Surgical, Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS) Hospital. He is also a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland.
